It’s been a while…

Well, nothing like a two year hiatus from blogging to reinvigorate my fingertips! Here we go…

So honestly, when I started self-published, I wasn’t sure there would be much demand for a blog— which is why it fell off my radar. Also, ADHD and OCD means if it’s not absolutely perfect, I become irritated and forget it exists… That said, I’m getting a little tired of social media and this, at the very least, can be a new exercise in futility.

So what have I been up to these last two years? Well, a career change… some grieving… several new passions and a lot of rethinking what I want life to look like. Oh, and of course, writing! The reveal of my new book, The Aether Unravels!

This is the second book in Bonds of Dissonance, my epic fantasy, slow-burn romance series that explores intricate worlds and complex emotional relationships—with a dash of spice. I say dash, because one of the biggest surprises that came after the release The Aether Awakens was the commentary on the lack of smut… Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good spicy story (seriously, Ice Planet Barbarians is my guilty pleasure, all the praise to Ruby Dixon), but that was definitely not the driving theme of my series. So I’m hoping to better advertise/represent my work this time around. We live, learn, and ultimately love.

A lot of wonderful things happened while working on this book—and a lot of not so wonderful things. I’m going to start posting about some of these snippets from my life as I wrote The Aether Unravels here on this blog. If you’re interested, please follow along!
